For Mothers’ Day, I treated myself to a new sewing machine.
I had been struggling with the machine that Bruce got me for my birthday last year but the major problem with it was its inability to do blanket stitch.
I need blanket stitch to work on the applique projects that I have started – “Playing with Angels” and the William Morris Sampler.
As I was able to pay for my new machine over 12 months, I decided to treat myself.

Last night I started to make a list of all the quilting projects that I’m currently working on. I was surprised when I added them up and there were nine. Nine! And that doesn’t include the kits, books and fabric that I have for future projects.

This is the list of my projects;

  1. Taizen Niwa: Garden of Serenity BOM
  2. Playing with Angels BOM
  3. Ava May Candlewicking BOM
  4. Lucy Boston – Patchwork of the Crosses
  5. Raechel’s Fairy quilt
  6. Windows of Egypt
  7. William Morris sampler
  8. Jelly Roll quilt

Each of these projects I’ll write about in future blogs.
